A. I think the most powerful picture is the "Down and Dirty" photo. It showed the struggling soldier praying after a hard week. I thought it was the most powerful because it conveyed emotion and it seems like it has an interesting story behind it. B. The images work together to tell a story because they all have emotion to tell the story. In the pictures, you see many different emotions that all tell the same story. C. The captions enhance the photos by giving them a backstory. The viewer can understand the photo more and even look at it with a different point of view. The captions also explain what is going on in the photo if the viewer is confused. D. Ian gets deployed to the military to fight in Iraq. He goes through many ups and downs as he goes through various training and later, war. he has many problems keeping up with his friends, family, and girlfriend while fighting. E. Mural Project Preview

1. Three theme ideas I had for the group project is:     - Austin: this would be pictures that represented Austin like ladybird lake, downtown, hot       temperatures, capital, etc.     - Water     - light     - Animals 2.
