1. My first reaction to what I read and saw was sadness. I think the photographer did a really good job of capturing the emotion of the picture by emphasizing the animals. I think that the topic of animal habitat loss and endangerment is a really significant topic because it will affect us, other living things and beautiful landscapes. It's really cool that a Nick Brandt went out and captured the sad, important topic and creating amazing photos out of it to spread awareness. He also wanted to capture the animals living their life and emphasize the beauty of them. He wanted to capture their spirits. 2. 3. This was my favorite picture by Nick Brandt because I think it captured the sadness of animals losing their habitats to humans.
